Welcome back to our wedding blog series! In part one, we talked about how we got to know A+T and planned their wedding design. Now, let's dive into the next exciting step: the mock-up and revision process. This is where we make sure everything looks just right before the big day.
What is a Mock-Up?
A mock-up is like a practice run for the wedding decorations. We set up a small version of what the wedding will look like. This helps us see if everything matches A+T's vision and make any changes if needed.
Bringing Ideas to Life
For A+T, we created a mini version of their reception area. We set up sample tables, flowers, and decorations. We paid attention to every little detail, from the candles and linens to the beautiful flower arrangements. We wanted to make sure everything looked as elegant and sophisticated as they imagined.
Working Together
Once everything was set up, it was A+T's turn to come and see the mock-up. Their feedback is vital at this stage in the process. We discussed what they loved and what they wanted to tweak. Whether it was changing the flowers or trying new colors, we made sure to listen and make any adjustments needed.
Good communication and trust are crucial in designing a wedding. Since we had built a strong relationship with A+T, they felt comfortable sharing their honest thoughts and ideas with us.
Perfecting the Flowers
One of the best parts was finalizing the flowers. A+T wanted a romantic and whimsical feel, so we chose flowers that moved naturally and had different textures. Seeing the flowers in the mock-up helped A+T feel confident that their wedding would be just as beautiful as they hoped.
Choosing Rentals and Decorations
We also showed A+T different options for tables, chairs, and linens. This helped them see how everything would come together on the big day. They could pick the items that best matched their style and made their vision come to life.
Making Sure Everything is Perfect
The mock-up and revision process is really important. It helps us make sure there are no surprises on the wedding day. By planning and adjusting every detail, we can make sure everything goes smoothly and looks amazing.
What’s Next?
Now that the mock-up is done, we're getting closer to the big day! In our next blog post, we’ll talk about the busy week leading up to the wedding and share some behind-the-scenes moments. Stay tuned for more exciting details!
